6/25/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: Upon arrival to the home setting, individual counseling held with Ben-Nita at the home. This session focused on communication, respecting authority figures, school issues, blaming others, anger management, conflict resolution, and coping strategies. 2. Behavior: Ben-Nita had a nonchalant attitude during this session. She answered some questions but was hesitant about others. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C began session by inquiring about Ben-Nita’s emotional wellbeing. QMHP-C explored Ben-Nita’s underlying issues for blaming others for her behavior. She was challenged to accept responsibility for her behaviors regardless of the consequences. QMHP-C modeled appropriate ways to employ conflict resolution techniques during several situations. QMHP-C assisted Ben-Nita with maintaining the use of calming and coping strategies during challenging situations. QMHP-C revisited several past situations in which conflict resolution techniques were not utilized. QMHP-C instructed Ben-Nita to talk about how she would respond to such situations at the present moment. QMHP-C assisted Ben-Nita via play with constructing a client-tailored strategy for managing her anger. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C also processed with Ben-Nita on what causes hostile anger in her. QMHP-C discussed with Ben-Nita the ABC Model as a treatment plan to introduce to her new ways of viewing anger. QMHP-C engaged Ben-Nita in a discussion encouraging her to start discussing with the QMHP-C to identify her motivation for change and the asking her to identify her personal anger patterns. Towards the end of the session the QMHP-C suggested to the mother that Ben-Nita needed a new psychological to better assist her with her anger and mood stability. 1. Response: Ben-Nita had a nonchalant attitude during this session. She answered some questions but was hesitant about others. She appeared as if she was tired and restless. She did manage to provide adequate feedback regarding the topic being discussed as it relates to blaming others. She became defensive as she made attempts to explain her reason for blaming others 2. Response: She fails to recognize her wrong doings in specific situations. She continues to struggle with resolving conflicts in a peaceful manner. She was receptive to the strategies for managing anger. She has done well with reducing the intensity of her anger outbursts.
